FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What type of projects do you take on?

I usually work on static graphic design, meaning not moving animations. That could be anything from designing branding, PDF documents, album covers, icons, and posters, to newsletters, and physical product packaging.

What is your hourly rate?

If I am charging hourly for a project, it is more likely to be a project that I will be regularly working on for a longer period of time. My hourly rate is $50. In contrast, for a shorter term project, I will often just charge a single fee.

What time-zone do you work in?

I work in Pacific Standard Time from Seattle, Washington, generally from the hours of 9-5, M-F. With that being said, if any sort of emergency comes up for a project I am working on, I am available.

What is the typical timeline for a project?

It will really depend on the scope of the project you need help with! I've had some projects that are only a week or so while others have been over months of time. Sending me a quick email or messaging me on LinkedIn with a short description of your project will allow me to give you a general timeframe.

How do you charge for projects ?

I will always quote a price for you upfront, and am willing to work for either or hourly rate or a single project fee. What I charge depends on each project so if you're interested, reach out and I can give you a better idea!

What does your design process look like?

I would describe the start of my design process as play. I believe the best work comes when I'm in a state of enjoyment and experimentation.

After that, I narrow down the best ideas that came up and start to refine unit completion.

I love working with clients who are open to something new, exciting, and unexpected, but if you have a vision already in mind, I am always happy to help you execute exactly what you are looking for.

What if I need help after the project is complete?

I always make sure to help out my clients one month after the project ends, for free. For any help post that, we can work out an ongoing arrangement!
